I've looked at a bunch of websites, but I still can't get any ideas on the types and colors of wedding flowers. I haven't picked out dresses yet, but the colors are going to be purple and silver. Not a deep or bright purple, but not a lilac either. Something in between. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any flowers that come in a purple color? Does roses??? Thanks in advance! Roses do come in a lavendar color. You can also have deep blue delphiniums, they kind of look like a dark purple, or even iris's, they are purple.
I really had no idea what i wanted and my florist was very helpful telling me what flowers came in what colors and showing me pictures...they also told me what flowers would be in season.
I'm having purple roses in my bouquets. THey are a very pale lavendar color. You can also try hydrangea or actual lilacs depending on the season you are getting married.
There are also dark purple lisianthus, purple statice, and lavendar daisies.
Melissa, my girls wore dresses that were called lavendar but they really weren't - darker than lavendar but lighter than purple. Hard to describe. Anyway, my bouquet had lavendar roses which were gorgeous and the bm's bouques had touches of light purple flowers which were stunning. I'll look up the name for you if you like...
