Flower Question

Is anyone ordering a separate floral piece to go on their sweetheart table. Some of the florists we met with suggested I put my bouquet there. They also suggested that I bring the flower baskets from the church and place them in front of the table. The problem with this is that my bouquet is a simple clutch containing only black magic roses. This will definitely not take up much room on the table. I have also been told that my church may insist upon keeping our flower baskets as a donation. Any suggestions? Should I order a separate flower piece?

Flower Question

How many bridesmaids do you have? Will your flowers along with theirs be enough to decorate the table? I only have a MOH and a flowergirl--not enough, so my florist is 'throwing in' a piece for our table. Find out if the church will let you take the flowers back. I can't see how they could use all the flowers from all the weddings that go on during a weekend(and if your wedding is during advent or lent, they really have no use for them because they aren't allowed to keep the church decorated).

Flower Question

If you have bridesmaids, they place their bouquets on your sweetheard dais along with yours. That is what most brides seem to do and what I am going to do as well.

Flower Question

I am using the same piece that I am ordering for the table on the altar. The limo driver is transporting the arrangement to the reception hall. The arrangement is a long piece (something that would fit accross a small table). Hope that gives you a good idea!

Flower Question

I have 4 bridesmaids so we should be okay. One of the florists we are looking at is actually offering a very generous piece for our table for only $50. They are actually less money, in total, than all the other florists we looked at.
