Hi welcome
YAY another ME bride. Congrats
For florist: you should definatly make an appointment ahead of time.
If you have an idea of the dress that should be fine. Just let them know what colors you are thinking of

Re: flower questions
you still have time... personally, I would wait till you have the dresses. Just call the florists and set up a time for a meeting that way you have their full attention and you can discuss everything. PS - my suggestion is to call John at Flower Michele - he is awesome!

Re: flower questions
I would call the florist and make an appointment so that they are expecting you. You are not making a final decision on flowers now so as long as you have a color idea you are fine. You would check out Flowers By Emil (a vendor on here). Carmine is wonderful to work with.
Also, it is wonderful to see another ME bride on LIW.

Re: flower questions
I booked my florist already and I do not have the BM dresses picked yet. You do not have to choose your flowers now but it is a good idea to book the florist especially if you wnat one of the popular ones.
We are using John from Flower Michele too. We LOVE him. This post would be too long to list all the reasons why but if you do a search on Flower Michele you will see many raves about him.
Good Luck

Re: flower questions
yes, I would make an appointment, and I think it's easier if you have a color scheme picked out.

Re: flower questions
a. definately make an appointment b. you don't need to know your colors prior - i had no idea when i booked. i would suggest jack & rose - the price i got was for any flower i choose so it doesn't matter what color my dresses were at the time.

Re: flower questions
depends on whether you want colors in your arrangments but I wouldnt say wait until you get them you can choose without and you could always change things if you dont think it will complement later on.
