With 3 months to go, I am finally starting the flower search....i know, i know...super late but ive been soo busy
In any case, i want to know if $1500 is a reasonable quote for a small wedding of 70 people and 6 bridesmaids probably 7-8 tables (high and low centerpieces) small bouquets for the girls and kissing ball for flower girl no boutenniers (sp?) a really nice escort table 2 alter centerpieces and only 2 pew flower decorations
Any suggestions on where to go?? Is this a decent price?

Seem kind of high. Check out Verbena Design Jenn is great and she works with all budgets. Pictures are in my album of my sample centerpiece.

seems high to me.
If you dont need that many flowers, I would check out something like Costco of Stop and Shop, they do flowers and are really reasonable

based on my own quote for 8-10 tables, but more elaborate ceremony decorations and some CH decorations, that quote seems like perhaps a few hundred too high. But then again, what kind of CPs are you asking for? If you are asking for something with height or expensive flowers, then that might be the reason.

That seems high. I am locked in with Spitz and Peck and I am paying double but I have almost 200 hundred guests. I would shop around.

Does seem a bit high. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Flower Michele! John is AMAZING and he will work with any budget! Try it out...you won't regret it!

I agree!!! It seems way high, but you did not say what kind of flowers you are getting and that might be the reason for the price.
I highly recommend flowers by Emil in Brooklyn. You can google him. He is excellent

I would check out some other florist. It seems high to me. They may assume since your wedding is close they you are in dire need of a florist so they are charging you more than usual.

I think this sounds pretty fair, it also depends on the kind of flowers you are using. I would check out Flower Barn in Seaford though. Great work and great prices.

SOunds really high. Try Flower Michelle. He'll work with your budget and provide great quality. Also, don't feel bac about timing. I just booked my flowers last weekend and my wedding is in 4 weeks ( I had to cancel with my first florist due to 'artistic differences'......
