I personally did not like their selection or the saleslady. She wouldnt give me any privacy in the dressing room and she was SO concerned I was going to make a pull in her new sweater. And every dress I was interested in was 'on order' to be a sample.

Re: Flowerama in Elmont??
My best friend used them for her gown, our gowns, and mob and mog dress and they were so wonderful, they bent over backwards to make us all happy.

I think marcela1654 got her dress from there
Yup - this is the review of the place
My dress—Flowerama in Elmont: A:
I LOVE my dress. It’s a Eva Forsyth dress. I have heard mixed reviews of Flowerama but everyone there was great to me. Especially the seamstress, Josephine. She is amazing. She really worked with me. When she saw that I did not like the normal bustle style she immediately told me not to worry that she would think of something, She ended up coming up with a bustle I loved. My dress has detail going down the train which I did not want to lose due to the bustle. She made a bustle that the train was actually lifted up underneath, so it looked like I had a detachable train. I loved it and it stayed up all night.

Re: Flowerama in Elmont??
I was in a wedding & we went there for the dresses. (The bride got her's there as well) They were AWFUL!! The dresses were champagne in color. when I went for the trial I looked at the dress & the skirt was sage. The top was champagne. We had to go back & forth w/ the colors until my friend called the desginer to have them fixed & fed-ex'd a week before the wedding (something Flowerama said couldn't be done) The manager kept trying to ignore us when we were there like she didn't realize who we were. The girls at the front desk were VERY unprofessional.
While we were there complaing there were 2 other bridal parties waiting to complain as well!

Re: Flowerama in Elmont??
My MIL got her dress there. She had some problems with them as well... they sold her and made her fall in love with a dress that was discontinued and they do not make anymore!! She was so upset. She had to go back and try and find another dress! She left a non-refundable deposit so she had to find another dress there. They did however give her a steep discount on the new dress she settled for. So at least I can say one good thing.

Re: Flowerama in Elmont??
I ordered my gown, and the BMs gowns there... everything was going fine, until they told me that my dress would be in in June. When I called, in June, they kinda beat around the bush and said that the order is up to date & 'on time', and that I will receive the BMs dresses 2nd wk of July, and mine the 3rd wk.... that still doesn't make sense to me. Why is my dress coming in afterwards????
Luckily for them, I'm very patient. I don't mind receiving it this month... it's just the principle... don't BS me, ya know? However, I've let them slide... but the next time I call (probably by 7/18), everything better be smooth!
