Has anyone had any problems with them? I got
my dress and the girl's dresses there
and on Friday I had problem #3 with them.
I'm really fed up. Who needs this with less
than 5 weeks to go?

I dealt with the Flowerama in Queens and I have to say the experience was A+ HOWEVER, on some occassions I had to speak with people in the ELMONT store re:Pictures and my husband had to get his Tux there and each time was a Cat fight with these people. It is truly hard to believe it`s the same store. I got my dress, video, tux, girls dresses, pitures and flowers in the Queens store and like I said it`s like night and day with the people there. All I can say is if you really have a problem call Dominick Acuri in the Queens store (owner) and he is a doll, there is a Steve person in the Elmont store that I wanted to run over with my car!! anyway just venting I know how you feel, who needs the stress when your planning a wedding. Good Luck and if it`s only dresses, call Valerie in the Queens store she is the manager. Let me know what happens.
I have spoken to Valerie and
Christine. They are both managers there.
Friday night I told them that I would
never recommend them to anyone. I hope
the seamstress (sp?) doesn't look for a
tip when I pick up my dress!

Oh my God, I'm so sorry about the added stress..I wish you would of posted before you got your dress there..I would of definitely warned you and for everyone else reading this post, now they know. Lots of LUCK.
I was in my girlfriends wedding party last may & we got all the dresses from the Elmont store. First off they made her buy a dress 2 sizes to big (that way they can charge for alterations) Then our dresses were 2 piece in champagne. I went there to try mine on & I thought it was the lighting but the skirt seemed not really to match. SO I said to the seamstress this doesn't look champagne. She looked at me like I was crazy. The skirt was a light olive green. We returned them 3 times. And they were less then helpfull! And the girls up front are obnoxious b****es!! Who haven't got a clue! The manager (I can't remember her name) tried to ignore us one night that we went there & I went off on her. She was extremley phoney. My poor friend was near tears & I was NOT letting them do that to her. It amazes me how on such an important occasion they just don't seem to care or want to help. I would NEVER go there again!!!! I'm done bad mouthing now!!! Sorry for your troubles LisaD!
