I posted on the regular boards as well, but figured here would be good too.
So Im new and saw this idea with a different venue and thought it was great.
Anyone else booked at flowerfield so we can talk about the details? Could be a great source of help for all

Re: flowerfield
what date are you looking to book? i am using their florist but only for the CP's. i am getting the rest of the flowers from a differnet florist.
we are getting 12-14 calla lily's in a tall vase with some beachgrass i think and petals spread along the base. i saw a picture only so far.
i think we're seeing a sample closer to the wedding

Re: flowerfield
Can I ask why you are using a different florist for all flowers other then CP? I know they give the package deal but did you not like them or what?
Are you getting married there too or just reception?

Re: flowerfield
We're getting married there as well.
the florist that they offered gave us a rediculous quote. then after checking around, we got the same flowers for like more then half the price. so we were allowed $100 centerpieces, so thats all we are using them for.

aww you do listen to me when i talk. lovin oven is contracted with us to do our CP's so thats all we're doing. we're using Flower Michele because they gave us better pricing and my brother used them so i have seen their work. but i have heard really great things about lovin oven.
we are using Patken though. we just had to pay for any upgrades we want (video, more pics in album, etc)

oh and the bakery they use...Audrey's...everyone RAVES about them so i cant wait to do the cake. i'm actually in the process of finding out if we didnt want the 2 ice sculptures that come with the package if we can change it for something else.

alyssa, if you dont mind me asking...what did you get a quote for and how much? did you meet with keyth? i liked his ideas and stuff but he wanted to charge almost double the quotes i was gettin from everywhere else. granted he was throwing in little stuff like flowers in the bathroom and on the serving trays...but for that amoungt of money i was like who cares...no one is gonna see flowers on the food tray lol

it's only us 2 (3 technically) haha
Jackie, $2200 for flowers such as peonies, roses, hydrangea, stephonoitis, ranunculous and a few others. included were 3 bm bok's, mine, 8 boutineirs, 3 mom pieces (fancy one's), 2 grandma's, cocktail tables would have rose petals, gazebo is fully decorated, (i can't remember if this included the pews), 6 HP's and 6 low CP's.
I feel i'm missing quite a bit more than this too though

Re: flowerfield
he quoted me about the same amount and that didnt include CP's!! it was my bo-k, 1 MOH, 7 BM's, 2 altar arrangements, 5 corsages, 4 bouts i think, FG basket and petal cones...and i think that was it...and it was 2K something. i almost fell off my chair...cuz thats just pesonal flowers. it was kinda awkward asking him to just provide my CP's...so now i have a contract with a balance of $0 for all my Cp's since they are included. its my favorite contract lol

i almost feel like it cost so much to make up for the free CP's. and seriously i felt bad saying 'no i just want the free CP's and thats it' but hey its business lol
