Someone just told me about Flowerfield in St. James, but i cant find much info online. Anyone use this as their RH? know anything about ceremony, pricing, etc?

It is a little pricier than other places but its beautiful! It is definitely worth making an appointment to go and see it. I almost chose Flowerfield. Their cocktail room is like nothing you have ever seen. No one has a cocktail room like theirs.

I'm getting married there.. you can FH me if you want.
Also there is a bridal showcase there tomorrow where you can try some of the cocktail hour food.
I think you just need to call and RSVP, but it's def worth looking into.

i've heard the food is amazing and its beautiful, but a little pricey. My FSIL worked there and loves it there! It's in Suffolk and I wanted to get married in Nassau so we didnt bother checking it out.

Flowerfield was my first choice. I was even willing to have a winter wedding there to make it fit my budget. It is absolutely gorgeous there, especially the CH room. It's like nothing you will ever see. However, the main reason we did not choose it for our RH is it's location.The majority of FH's and I's family is from Queens, Staten Island and Nassau county so the drive out there would be a lot to impose on our guests.

The food is very good there but it just wasn't my style--didn't love the CH room or the reception room. The grounds are very pretty though. I like Lands End in Sayville over Flowerfield...same owners. JMO, don't mean to offend anyone

They are having a showcase today (Sunday) from 1-4....might be worth attending to get all of your questions answered. I have heard really good things about this venue.

If you want the south shore, Lands End is the same owners as FF and they are on the water in Sayville.

lol that's exactly how I felt about Land's End. The food is good, it's beautiful outdoors but FH & I really didn't like inside.
If it rained or any bad weather we'd be stuck in doors and it was too big of a risk because we really were'nt happy with the inside.

agreed! I had my engagement party in the CH room : )
We went to look for the wedding, but the ballroom wasnt really our style. I was so obsessed with the cocktail hour room , so we decided to have our e-party in there. IT WAS AMAZING, GORGEOUS..The food is top notch. The service was fantastic.. Its def pricey but worth it.
My best friend had her weding there last year. AMAZING!!! She paid about$ 150pp ++ its expensive but the best wedding i've been to....and I've been to alot.

Flowerfield is right by my house and its a beautiful place. It was a bit too expensive for FH and I. I heard the food is amazing.

I got married at Flowerfield. They were PHENOMINAL!!! You can read my review and if you have any questions FM me...
The price was more than some other places here but SO SO worth it!!!!
