Flowerfield

I am thinking about having my reception at Flowerfields. They do not offer food tastings. Has anyone been to a wedding here before or have you had your wedding here. I would love some input.

Thanks!

Lovin Oven Caterers offer great food. Once you book with them, you will be invited to a tasting a few months before your wedding. I am a Land's End bride, same catering company. FF is such a beautiful place to have your reception.
My tasting at LE went very well. Their food is unique, and they stand up to their reputation. You definitely get what you pay for. They also are part of 21 Main, in Sayville. You will probably find only good things about Lovin Oven and Flowerfields. Good luck!

ETA: If you see anything by West Lake Inn, they may have some tastings or showcases. We were going to go with West Lake, went for a tasting, saw Lands End and then chose Lands End.

definitely do not worry about the food there. i think it has some of the best food of all the local rh's... the food is basically gourmet quality. i have never heard anything bad about it.

Im not sure if they have the same food at every venue but I have had a lot of their food and it is always delicious!

The chef at Lands End said they can make anything off the menus of any 3 venues, if you do not see it on one menu.

Flowerfields is one of the most beautiful halls FH and I have EVER been too. The food was supurb on top of the ambiance!! We wanted to get married here but could not afford the price, it was well worth the price though for those who can afford it...you will NOT regret not having a food tasting...everything WAS YUMMY....

Flowerfield, Lands End and West Lake Inn are all part of the Lovin Oven family. So the food tastings in all 3 locations are prepared by the same chefs. The staff switches depending upon which location has an event and how booked they are. Also most of the food preparations are done at West Lake and then taken to the other locations if needed. I have been to wedding at both Flowerfields and Lands End needless to say the food is amazing! That's what sold us on West Lake Inn. We are on a budget so couldn't afford Flowerfields and Lands End beautiful grounds but West Lake's interior is beautiful enough. We went with the good food and entertainment route... Hopefully everyone has a good time! I'm happy either way :)

Ever since I've booked with Land's End (Part of Lovin' Oven family) I have only heard rave reviews about the food there and at every Lovin' Oven location!!

This was a concern of mine as well, and the BM actually offered to write into the contract to have the tasting early with a 24 hr cancellation window if we didn't like the food, but you only get one tasting and its usually done much closer to the wedding to determine the menu. So we waited, but if it's important to you ask and see if you can do that!

I went to a wedding at Flowerfield last year. The food was great! I'm getting married at their sister venue, Lands End. You could try to attend one of their bridal events to try the food. Good luck with your planning!

I'm getting married at Flowerfield in October. Since we live out of state, and weren't able to attend any of their big showcase type events with food tastings, we're having a private tasting next week. Friday to be exact. I'll give you some reviews after my tasting. I have only heard AMAZING things about the food, so I'm super excited!!

I went to a wedding at Flowerfield in 2009. The staff was extremely professional and attentive and the food was delicious! I lovedddd the CH area and the grounds are beyond gorgeous. The ballroom is very pretty but I wasn't crazy about the tiled ceilings (just a pet peeve of mine). Overall, I had a wonderful experience there & you def. will not be disappointed if you choose them.

Here are some pictures...

Most delicious cake ever!
