Flowerfield and New hyde park inn

So we think weve narrowed it down to these two.. i would love your opinions.

We are also concerned with the bathrooms at FF. Did anyone have a problem with them being in the actual room? Does the dj block them?

I also heard the food at FF is amazing, and that at NHP not everyone got what they asked for

I got married at the Inn at New Hyde Park and it was absolutely amazing!!!!! Everything was perfect and the food was delicious.. People are still callin us to tell us how great of a time they had..

I have also been to wedding at flowerfield and I looved it as well. The food was delicous too its just a completely different feel.. While I absolutely love the outdoor gardens and grounds of flowerfields.. I just feel The Inn's ballroom is just huge and grand with those high ceilings and thats what really sold me.. plus the cocktail hour room at the Inn is amazing!!!! You honestly cant go wrong with either place but it just depends on what type of wedding you want...Good luck!!

ah thats my problem!! i like the differences in both places lol.. the chandeliers at NHP remind me of my grandmas house. so that would be a nice way/feeling to have her there since she passed away. But then the outside grounds seem alot nicer at FF. I wish i could put places together

Aww thanks so much!!!I totally understand your dilemma.. before I got married I went to the wedding at flowerfields and said to FH I want to get married here.. But then when we got engaged.. I wound up looking at The royalton and then the Inn and fell inlove with the inn.. You would be surprised on hose nice the grounds are there as well. But, let me tell you that I was soo happy I chose a place that if it rained.. I wouldnt be upset about it.. Thats specifically why I didnt want a place on the water cause if it rained I would be devastated.. And I was on the money when i thought that cause it did rain on my wedding and I was not upset cause I knew that we would be indoors the whole time and thats why I shose the Inn cause its absolutely gorgeous inside and never made you miss being outdoors.. Trust me I originally wanted a place that was secluded and had lots of grounds.. But you have to factor in the weather.. that is a huge concern and although grounds are beautiful if it rains you wont be outside taken pics.. you spend most the wedding indoors anyways.. so thats something to think about!!!

I looked at NHP Inn and it was gorgeous!! I attended one wedding at FF and it was great....

Either option you are going to have a great wedding.

yeah the weather is what everyone keeps telling me could happen. I wouldn't be mad if it rained because we got engaged on a rainy day .
