Flowerfield Brides....

We are having our reception at Flowerfield this summer.. we had been working with Allison, but I called today and Allison no longer works there. Who is everyone else working with? Are you happy? Thanks for your help! I''m freaking out a little.

well....

Sorry girls to rain on your parade. I'll remain nameless, but I feel the way Christine does. I know Flowerfield has a great reputatiuon which is why I booked, but I have had some issues...Allison offered us a tasting. When I called and spoke with Florinda I was told we couldn't come to a tasting until we booked, come to find out many of you went to a tasting before you booked!! I was told alot of the items listed as 'upgrade' aren't a true upgrade by Allison, not sure if this will really pan out when my menu planning time comes. I have left my name several times in the last few months to attend a scheduled tasting (they fill up fast). Every time they (florinda and others) promise to call me back as soon as they schedule, so I can be the first on the list. They don't. I missed the last 2 tasting and now the April tasting which is booked - that you all raved about.... I too (like someone else on the board recently) had problems getting a straight answer on how to taste/order/what are upgrade costs for the cake. Nothing is a show stopper, but it's not how I expected to be treated for the money I'm paying.

well....

I am dealing with Florinda. I also had a tasting BEFORE I booked because I flat out refused to commit to anything until I tasted the food. I also had a private tasting, which was arranged to accommodate mi fiance's work schedule. If you are firm enough, they will do as you ask.
