Re: Flowerfield Brides

Congratulations to a fellow Lovin' Oven Bride!

I recently booked at Land's End. The girls suggested that I book in this order:
1. Photo
2. Music
3. Florist
4. Dress

Of course, I have been focusing on the dress because that is the most fun!

Congradulations!!!
If your getting married in a church make sure you book them so they don't get rid of your date. Then I would start checking out photographers and videoagraphers.

Don't know the banquet manager yet... I didn't ask that yet... I guess when I drop off the contract I can ask that.....

has anyone used thier vendors at Flowerfields or planning to?

Also, are there any expo's coming up in Suffolk County?

that's who I am dealing with- she is very nice

I am having the cermony there- in the cocktail hour room- I wish I could have it outside- but it might be too cold!

I would start with that last- and go see people- get a felling of what you like and don't like- my feeling was is FF recommended them- they have to be good!

Re: Flowerfield Brides

Congrats!! I'm getting married there in 6 weeks on 10/22!! We have been working with Meaghan, who is great.
Just one thing to consider if you do book the ceremony there. If it happens to rain that day, they perform the ceremony in the atrium (cocktail hour room). We weren't crazy about that, so we booked a church.
Flowerfield is awesome!! The grounds, the rooms, the food, the staff, everything! Yeah!!

I am doing the combo course- the lump crab cake ( this was the toughest thing to decide on b/c they were ALL so good)

then for entres
filet migon
lobster and crab crepe- so freakin good- I am ordering that myself
the chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans- I didn't love the stuffed chicken that they served at the tasting- so this is more basic

Everything was really good-

the dessert was fab also- the carrot cake was the best I ever had-
tramisu- was so good

everything was really good- i can't stress it enough!
