I went to my tasting today and it was AMAZING! I had heard the food was good....so I expected it to be above average, but I was totally blown away! I have never tasted such amazing wedding food. The presentation was great, the service was outstanding and the food was to die for. It tasted more like a dinner that u go out to the city on a friday night to eat, than wedding food. Not to say that I haven't had some good food at weddings...but I think u all know what I mean. I am still full!! I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking about bookin flowerfield to do it, and anyone that is already booked there...u have nothing to worry about!!!

You have nothing to worry about! Flowerfields is amazing! My bro got married there and it was by far the most incredible wedding ever! We originally booked there but cancelled because we are huge into karma and my bros marriage did not last and we were getting married on the anniversary of his wedding!
I know a little crazy! But it is a gorgeous place! Congrats!

AWESOME!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'm still nervous though that we're going to pick the wrong choices....what were some of your favs? Do you have any suggestions for CH stations? FH and I are so torn on what to do....

Re: Flowerfield brides
our biggest dilema was go for the pork chop or the chicken. It seems fitting to have chicken (the one with gnocchi ) but the pork chop was huge and tender and displayed so nicely we went with that. Otherwise we chose the filet and the lobster crepe as the other choices along with the veggie lasagna. Over all it wa so yummy. I really didnt think it was going to be difficult to decide or taste so good. The service seemed very professional and formal too. What you want at your wedding!

Re: Flowerfield brides
Yeah that's what we were thinking too....I kinda am not all about the Veg lasagna though....when i got the choices there was a Mushroom Torte...that looked DOOOOOOOOPE!!! Did u get to try that?
What about your CH stations...which ones did u pick?
Also- I'm sorry i have so many questions- what made u go for the crepe over a traditional fish dish....it sounds awesome and I keep hearing great things about it but my family is a bunch of obnoxious guineas and I'm not sure its enough food LOL
OH YEA! Does anyone know if Flowerfields offers seconds? Just curious....i didn't even know halls did this but someone asked me and I have no friggin clue....ok thanks...I feel so clueless

I don't believe flowerfield offers seconds, but I could be wrong. Your guests will be so full, they don't need it. We picked the lobster crepe over a regular seafood dish because we knew our guests were big lobster and shrimp and crab eaters. We also picked the filet mignon because that is what DH and I wanted, then we picked the pork chop (the newer sytle they just came up with) because it was different than just chicken, and every single guest including ourselves said it was delish!
For the CH stations, you get a lot of passed dishes, did I mention A LOT of food. For the stations, I think we did everything but the thai station and one other one. But go with what you would eat, and what you think your guests will like. Your parents will be able to help you decide at the tasting. I know ours did because they knew what they wanted to eat as well.

Thanks...yea that sounds like what we would do for our menu as well...thanks so much...I'll probably bug you soon too...we were thinking of doing the Pasta (of course), Spanish, and Carribean...we wanted to do a carving but we figured we could carve the pork at the carribean station and the skirt steak at the spanish station....plus we get extra options at those stations too....
who knows...we have time but it always helps to plan ahead

The food is amazing! Go for the pork chop instead of the chicken. People raved about how big, tasty and different the pork chop was. Everyone always has chicken, go different

Gah I am a land's end bride and soooo thrilled to here this! Anyone know how much Lovin' Oven charges to add an extra entree choice? I wonder if I could afford to do chicken AND pork chop!!!

Re: Flowerfield brides
I had my heart set on the pork chop...but at the tasting...not that it wasn't good, but the chicken with the peppercorn dressing was amazing!! My FH who always gets steak actually ate the chicken instead. The pork chop was good but when it got a little colder it wasn't as tender and it just didn't blow me away as much as the chicken did. I didn't want chicken bc its the same ole choice...but it was sooo good. We aren't doing a carving bc we figured we had a lot of meat already. We're doing pasta, pacific rim and spanish station. Half the guests a filipino so we went that way. Did anyone add the jewels of the sea seafood bar?? we did originally but since i splurged and switched videographers...we just took it out...
