Flowerfield Brides Having Ceremony There
So, we are having our ceremony at Flowerfield, and we figured that eliminates the need for limos.... however, I am thinking about our transportation options now... most of our party and guests will be from Nassau County. Some of our guests will be from the city and Westchester.
I don't know what is usually involved in blocking off rooms. Do you pay a certain amount to block them off? Do guests pay on their own?
Our hospitality starts at 7, followed by the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception til 1 AM. Does anyone know of any hotels with shuttle buses nearby?
We were also trying to keep the price down as much as possible (duh). I'm not sure who will or won't be interested in getting a room at this point (I have a while, though I'm sure it'll go fast...), but I just want to make sure no one is miserable or unsafe...
I never thought I'd be able to afford Flowerfield, but we got a really great deal...so I want to try to save as much as I can with DIY stuff, etc. Is there anyone on here who included a lot of DIY stuff in their Flowerfield reception ?
