Flowerfield or the Woodlands- help!

Flowerfield or the Woodlands- help!

So after my venue tour of LI (my mom and I saw 10 places- ahh lol) I have narrowed it down to Flowerfield or the Woodlands. I really like both places, and they are both the same price.

Now comes the hard part-- making a decision. Anyone have any advice/suggestions/experiences with either place to share?

Thanks in advance!

I was deciding between watermill and flowerfield. Outside of flowerfield is nice but I do not like the inside too much. Looks 80's to me.

I love Flowerfield!! I love that if it rains or snows you still have the feeling of being outside in the atrium. Plus, everyone always raves about the food. Good luck in your decision!

My FSIL got married at Flowerfield and it was amazing. Everything had to be inside because of rain and they really did a fantastic job. The atrium is awesome with all the green and the little pond and bridge right there, the food was ridiculously amazing and everyone there is nice and helpful. Good luck!

I've never been to a wedding at flowerfield, but I have been to a wedding at the woodlands, and it was wonderful. I'm a lands end bride (sister of flowerfield) and therefore I'm sure the food at flowersideld will be fantastic!

However, even though I have not been to a wedding at flowerfield, I have been to a showcase there, and after seeing both, I would say I like the atmosphere of the woodlands.

I love the way it looks when you pull in. And the cocktail hour there was very nice.

As the other bride said, flowerfield seems a little out dated. To be honest, when I went to the showcase at flowerfield it was after I had booked Lands End (to see their vendors since they are one in the same) and I was worried that I would like flowerfields more and be disappointed in my decision. But I was not at all. I was completely happy with my decision with Lands End.

Anyway, hope this helps! I'm sure either decision you make you day will be filled with love and joy! Its about you and your FH, not all the other bells and wistles!

I agree flowerfield looks out dated. But Woodlands amazing place. My friend got married there last year.

I went to a winter wedding in January '11 at FlowerFields and it was genuinely a gorgeous and unique place...loved it! The huge open room for the cocktail hour and Viennese hour was really beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites! The only thing I could say was the wedding was huge and the dance floor seemed a little small for so many people once the DJ was set up, but otherwise, LOVED it! Good luck! :)

DEFINITLEY FLOWERFIELDS

MY COUSIN JUST GOT MARRIED THERE AND THEY DO A FANTASTIC JOB, THE FOOD IS GREAT AND THE PEOPLE THERE ARE SO NICE AND EASYGOING. THEY DO ACCOMADATE YOU VERY WELL. THE ROOM IS NICE AND OPEN, AT THE WOODLANDS ITS ONE LONG ROOM YOUR GUESTS WILL HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING EVERTHING GOING ON, WHERE THEY PUT THE BAND OR DJ IS NOT NICE. I HAVE BEEN TO BOTH PLACES AND I LOVE FLOWERFIELDS SO MUCH BETTER.

IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I JUST GOT DONE BOOKING ALL MY MAJOR VENUES. LIKE YOU, I HAVE SEEN JUST ABOUT EVERY VENDOR AND FINALLY MADE MY DECISIONS.

BEST WISHES!

My sister got married at Flowerfield almost 11 years ago and I'm getting married at The Woodlands on NYE of this year. Both venues are great! I don't think you can make a bad decision-just depends on your preference! My fiance and I wanted a mansion feel so The Woodlands was the perfect choice for us.

thank you so much ladies! I appreciate it

To the girls who said Flowerfield looks dated-- what exactly do you think looks dated in there? Thanks in advance!

My vote is for flowerfield. My FH and I fell in love it once we stepped foot inside. We loved the feel of the outside in the atrium. Since we are getting married in december...having that little outdoor feel inside was perfect. I don't think it looks outdated at all. Anyone who asks me where I am getting married raves about a wedding they had there. They truly have made me feel soo special thus far. I am not sorry that I have chosen this place. Goodluck ...I am sure you will make the right decision for you and your fiance!
