I just got engaged last weekend and need your help!!! I absolutely love Flowerfield, I think it is the most beautiful place on Long Island to get married! I also really like Land`s End...they are both very different. I have some questions...Are any of you aware of prices for February/April? Do they consider this the off season? Do you have any tips for when I meet with them(ie:negotiating prices, etc.)? I really appreciate any advice/help you can give me! THANKS!:)

Flowerfield/Land`s End Brides...
We are getting married at Flowerfields on (Saturday night) April 26, 2003 (a year from today). That was the only Saturday left and we booked in the beginning of March. Depending on what days are left and when in April it may fall under an off peak rate. I believe we have to guarantee 185 and we are paying $135 plus the tax and the gratuity...We did get them down b/c it was going to May's rate because it was the last weeekend in April..it is also a lot b/c it is a Saturday night starting at 7:00 PM. I am not sure what dates they will have left for 2003 for April? Any other questions please ask. Good luck!!

Flowerfield/Land`s End Brides...
When I visited Flowerfield they told me that February would be off-season and they are slightly negotiable on the prices. When I went (over a year ago), standard prices ranged from $120-$180 depending on day and time of the wedding - Hope this helps....
Im a Lands End bride...last year when I booked this year prme season was 185 min and $140 pp...they did say they could work something out for Jan-Mar...I tried to negotiate for the summer, but no luck...she said they don't go lower b/c they know they will book...but on 3/16 I know they didn't have a party and 4/13 no sat night...so it is quite possible...just not peak time

Question for Lands End
My girlfriend just got engaged - and I told her to look at Lands End - She was asking me for a price - When I looked over a year ago the price pp was $125 plus tax and tip - the $140 is that for day or evening and that is w/o tax and tip I'm assuming? Please let me know.
I would really appreciate it.
It's so weird how the price of everything goes up. My sister got married a year 1/2 before me - and I remember going crazy b/c the prices seemed so much higher - and I guess it's still going up.
when I went to look last year for this summer the prices were
fri night $125 150 min
sat afternoon $125 150 min
sat night $140 185 min
sun afternoon $115 150 min
sun night $110 135 min
sun twighlight (anytime you want) $140 185 min
I went to pick something up there a week or two ago and overheard them telling someone on the phone saying prices were now upto $150...so I guess that next year you should add $10 to each...

Re: Lands End
We were able to negotiate a little for late April (I was married there two weeks ago.)
They mentioned that earlier April or March would be more flexible.
We paid 120pp for a Saturday night, 185 guest guarantee.
