Hi. I am just beginnging to plan my wedding and am trying to narrow down my list of reception locations to visit. I was wondering if anyone can give me any information (good or bad) about either of these places. Thanks!

Re: Flowerfields/Lands End
My reception was at Flowerfield, and everything, from food, to service, to presentation was excellent. If you have any specific questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.

My reception was at Lands End and it was amazing. The food and the service were both incredible.
We fell in love with it the moment we walked it. It had the simple elegance we were looking for and it surpassed all expectations.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Re: Flowerfields/Lands End...Long
I ultimately booked Flowerfield for my wedding 4/13/03 but, FF and Land's End were my two top choices. Even though they are owned by the same company, they are both very different (except for the food, that's the same). When are you planning on getting married? Flowerfield is very well suited for any season but, I see Land's End for more of a summer wedding since it is right on the water. Their landscapes are extremely different. Flowerfield is set on 56 acres, Land's End is set on the Great South Bay. They are both absolutely beautiful, but Flowerfield is a bit more expenisve than Land's End. I could go on forever, they are both great choices. What you should do is make an appointment to go and see both of them. I went to see both in one day (FF second) and the second I walked into Flowerfield, I knew it was the place...you'll see what I mean! Let me know if you have any more questions... Good Luck! Jessica

Re: Flowerfields/Lands End
Lands End and Flowerfield were my two top choices as well. I looked at 15 halls they were the nicest. My FH LOVED lands end, but we are having an april wedding, plus we are being married at our hall. Flowerfield blew my mind. The place is incredible. We booked Flowerfield for next April. You will love it!
