flowergirl gift?

my flower girl will be 2 1/2 years old.. I was thinking of getting her the Madam alexander flower girl doll $55. & the stand would be personalized with her name and our date...Her mother(my MOH) got me a madam alexander doll when I was her MOH,
Would this be a good gift?cause Im thinking of ordering it now..

that is really cute. Does she like to play with dolls.\? I only ask b/c if she is like a tom boy then she may enjoy something else. I am sure she will treasure it otherwise.

she's only a year old right now... so i dont know what she would be like then.. but i thought it was a cute idea.. these are the collectable dolls which are like 8' tall and stay on the stand.. would something else be better?

I think it is nice, she will appreciate when she gets older. I got mine, a bunny stuffed doll, with butterfly wings,,so she will have something now, and I also got a statue that holds a candle of little girl holding a basket of flowers, and she has butterfly wings too. (it was perfect for her and her wings she'll were.) [something for now, something for when she gets older]
