Flowergirl question

I have a dilemma.
I want to ask my girls to be in my bridal party this weekend.
I have it all planned out.
But I don't know what to do about the flowergirls.
I am going to ask my adult girls with a poem in a 'Will you be my...' card.
I have the cards for the flowergirls but do I use the same poems? They can't read the poems. I am stuck. I have the cards all ready to go but they are blank inside.
Any thoughts?
I also have a embroidered shirts for them and the flowergirls also have picture books where the main characters all are flowergirls in a wedding.

Re: Flowergirl question

I actually asked their parents b/c I wanted their approval first but also they were too young to know what a flowergirl was, did, etc. I think it would be nice to write a poem but have it explain to them what you are asking of them & what a special role it is, etc. Very cute!! Good luck!

Re: Flowergirl question

maybe you could give the card to the flowergirls parent to read to them . . . or you could read the card to them

if i were in your shoes i'd give the card to the parent and show the picture book to the girls and ask them if they'd be your flowergirl when ur done reading through the picture book

hope that's helpful!

Re: Flowergirl question

I would def ask parents first and then sit with each of them and explain what you want them to do.

Re: Flowergirl question

The flowergirls are my three neices.
My sisters already know that I planned on having them in the wedding party.
My sisters assume they are going to be in the wedding party too.
