$$$ FLOWERS $$$

I actually got my FIL's to pay for this one and said it would probably cost like $2K- $3K. I, of course, have NO CLUE on how much the flowers will actual cost yet. I need church flowers and table flowers. How much does the flower packages usually run????? I have an appointment with John at Flower Michelle and heard he works well within your budget.

I booked with John at Flower Michele, and we gave ourselves a budget of 2k. Flowers are tough, because their all different amounts of money. But for just under 2k, my wedding is all Calla Lily's, which are expensive flowers. Thats including everything. With your budget, you'll be fine. Good Luck!!

flowers by brain is great but very pricey...
as for flowers by michelle i loved john however we were getting all roses which are cheaper then calla lillies with no church flowers and it was almost 3000 way over budget. we went with simply elegant and they are amazing. we are paying a little under 2000 and getting everything we wanted and more.. good luck

I really set a budget of $3-$4,000 for flowers because I love them and wanted the room to be filled.

John from Flower Michele worked with that and I could have not have been happier.

It really depends on what you are looking for and what type of flowers.

Flowers were one of the more expensive items. We decided not to get floral centerpieces, so our total cost is $1200. With it would have been more expensive. We aren't aving roses either. I don't really like roses.

my budget is soooooo low !
I set a budget of $1300 and i dont care if that only buys me candle cps. as much as i love flowers i cant afford to spend $3000 and up. Personally i rather take that extra $1500 and put it toward the honeymoon!

depending on how many flowers you want and what kind i would say $3000 and up for the total package.
its the centerpieces that really end up costing you.
they normally range about $75 and up a table and then times that by 12 tables and you are looking at $1000

i spent $4000 when i was quoted 6 grand at another florist and it was for less than what i was getting with keyth! so i was happy b/c 6 was right at the top of my budget

Just a recoomendation.......I am using a local Florist in East Meadow. Oberle's Florist does amazing work and the are not wedding vendor so they are alot less money. I have found that local florist give you A LOT MORE for you money.

Well, I went shopping last week for flowers and I have gotten a range from $1950 to $2800!
Vendors I have tried are in the list below from highest to lowest:
1) Vendor near my home in George Washington Heights $2800
2) Flower Michele (LIW Vendor)
3) Flowers By Brian (LIW Vendor)
4) Flower Barn (LIW Vendor)
5) Verbena Design (LIW Vendor)
6) Another vendor near my home. $1950

CaMacho and oomarshmallowoo helped me pick a realistic budget based on their shopping. Thanks girls!!!

What I want:
1 Bride bouquet all mini callas with orchids
1 MOH Bouquet roses, mini callas
4 BM- All roses
1- groom calla lily boutonnière
5- boutonnières for GM and ring bearer
2-mom corsage
2- boutonnières for dad and grandpa
1- toss bouquet
2- pieces for the church with 6-8 pew bows
*rose petals for table card
*18-20-tall centerpieces with callas (ranging from 8-14 depending on the vendor) with curly willows.
1- small sweetheart table piece (some of the quotes don't include this piece)
*Cake decoration (on the actual cake)

I am planning to give them my own 24-inch tall vases (which I can buy wholesale at the flower district in nyc) so that the guest can take them home. (the price range given includes the price of my own vases).
I also bought my own votive candles at Michaels and or ACmoore on sale (for like 0.30cents each)!!!!! and they are going to put them everywhere for me.

So with all this I am getting, am sure you can also find something at arnd $2,000.

I am actually going w/ my hall's house florist (I think), but I have heard excellent things about Flower Michelle. A friend of mine used Flowers By Brian, and said she didn't really care for the customer service- that everytime she called they were incredibly rude to her...however I saw a picture of the finished product and they looked amazing.
