I don't even know where to begin with flowers and was hoping you girls could give me some advise? Approximately, and I know it varies, how much should flowers be costing...total cost? I got a quote from one florist, approximate 3 - 4 Thousand. Is that reasonable?

It really depends what you're asking for. What was the quote for? Type of flowers, how many cps, bouquets etc...

That sounds about right. It depends on the type of flowers you want to use, if you need them for teh ceremony, the Bo-K's, centerpeices, and if you need the centerpeices for the CH as well. I haven't booked mine yet, but that was feeling I got from an earlier post. Hope that helped

For $3K - $4K you can defiantly get a nice amount and arrangement of flowers. I mean we all know, you can spend $150K if you want to, but we all don't have the last name Trump or at least I don't.
First pick the type of flowers you are interested in and then tell the florist your budget and go from there.
I highly recommend Flower Michele and I am sure majority will agree.

It really does depend on what you want. You can get a lot for 3 and 4K. I'm using Flower Michele and am getting LOTS of great flowers for under 3K. John at Flower Michele is great to work with and will work with any budget.

it does depend on flowers but it depends on your budget too. i only want to spend $1300, so i am going to get whatever that buys me... hopfully john from flower michelle can work his magic...

i was quoted between 3500 and 5 k
so it depends...i have a fairly large bridal party which can add to the costs
also the types of flowers
also how many CP you need can make the costs go up...definitely see what your options are by going to different florists
try Flower Michele in Mineola...I loved them and got the most for my money and they work with every budget

I'm keeping mine around 1000$- but my hall provides centerpieces- so I'm just getting bo-k and guys flowers...maybe renting a candle stand for the ceremony.

You should try' With all my heart' in Port Jeff Station. They are wonderful and will work with any budget.
