i originally wanted a fall theme wedding, however i fell in love with a wine color bridesmaid dress.. THe bouquets will probably look best with pink, purple, and ivory flowers however these arent really fall like colors... WOuld it look bad if i have fall like colors (reds, oranges, yellows) for the centerpieces and the pinks,purples, and ivory for the bouquets? I know they really dont match.. I just would like other opinions.

I am getting married next October and I am going to use light and deep pink flowers. That is what I like. I don't want to use deep fall colors. I think you have to go with what you like.

I think you should do whatever makes you happy but I think the fall colors look great w/ wine colored dresses. I have seen beautiful bouquets in the colors of your centerpieces...just keep looking till you find what you feel works... and ask your florist...they do it all the time and prob. have tons of ideas. I personaly would match my bouquets with my centerpieces. I think the fall themed colors would look beautiful witht the wine colored dresses. Wine color to me is Fall... but that is just my opinion.

ive always believe that the people in a wedding need not match the decor of the room - since you usually dont take pictures with your centerpieces - i think its ok to have different colors.

My CP's have a variety of colors in them, circus roses which are two toned yellow and orange, lenodias roses which are a deep dusty mauve color, black magic roses which are dark red. Orange vanda orchids, green hydrangea, white wax flower, purple stock, burgundy cockscomb, hypericum berries, ivy and silvery green seeded eucalyptus round it out. Sounds like a lot, but it really looks great together. Pics are in my album.
Bok-s and bouts are flowers found in the CPs : Mine will be the circus roses wtih seeded eucalyptus and hypericum berries. FH's bout will be the rose and berries. MOH bo-k will be leonidas roses with seeded eucalyptus and hypericum berries. Best man and two dads will have the leonidas rose. FMIL will have a wristlet of leonidas roses. FG will have a basket with both roses and hypericum berries, a wreath of ivy and vanda orchids in her hair.
Choose what you like best, and take the advice of your floral desinger.
