Re: Flowers

do you have a florist yet? you should check out tim's in massapequa. low cps are definitely cheaper - mine are included but the quote they gave me for an arch, two bouquets, 4 corsages, and like 10 bouts was awesomely low. FM me if you want more info.

also try burton's for sure.

I think you can do it at Burton's! This is where I'm getting mine and I have a quote a little highter then what you want but I'm getting high CP so you should be able to do it.

Re: Flowers

I think it could be doable!

I went with Laurie from LA Blossom. She is very sweet and stuck with my budget. I said I dont want to spend more than $2000. I am not a big flower person. She made it work and I have

Bride Bok
throw away Bok (just incase I decide to do it)
2 MOH Bok
3 BM Bok
1 Kissing Ball (flower girl)

10 bouts (includes dads and RB)
5 corsages for moms and grandmas

18 low centerpieces

no ceremony decor though and I think its somewhere around $1800-1900 but I am changing the types of flowers I want- now I am getting roses so It might be cheaper

Good Luck!!

Re: Flowers

Definitely possible, a friend of mine (who's also a LIW bride) got a quote from J A C K & R O S E for less than that and I think she's getting more flowers than what you want (including high centerpieces).

Re: Flowers

ok thanks guys. i feel a little better now. i dont want it to look like we skimped on the flowers but we rather put our money in other things (and we already did ) im not really sure what is alot to spend for flowers and what is not alot to spend on flowers (but im guessing 2500 is on the low end?) we just have to figure out what kind of flowers we are going to do.....im thinking all different shades of red/burgundy with the main flowers being roses....i know nothing about flowers and im having a hard time figuring out what i like or what i want - especially for a low centerpiece - i really like the high cp's with branches and crystals - i think they look very wintery but i have a feeling something like that is not going to fit in our budget.....

Re: Flowers

You can get plenty for $2500!!!
Check out Robert at Pedestals as well, My budget was less than that and I had 18 low CP, actually I am doing a hurricane with rose petals and candles (this saved me the most money since it did not require any flowers but roses), 12BM bok, 13bots, 5 corsages (Moms and grandmas) and my bok as well as 2 FG boks. I also included 2 additional larger pieces for the entry table as well as my place card table.
It depend a lot on the types of flowers you use as well, most of mine are roses but I have some cala lilies mixed in and some orchids in my bok. All of the bots are cala lilies as well.
Roses are deff the cheapest and I think they can look very lush and romantic.
Good luck and FM if you have any questions
