Re: flowers
That depends, I guess. I booked mine 2 months ago (and I'm getting married in May) because I didn't want her to get taken for my date! Also, if you book early you can see a sample of your cp's in season! I think that's a total plus!

We pretty much just picked the person we're using. He told us that we don't have to know any definites until about 4 months before the wedding since we still don't know our colors or exact numbers. He gave us an estimate based on what we THOUGHT we were going to have but we have plenty of time to change our minds.

Re: flowers
I booked my florist about a month ago. I called one place and they were booked for my date, over a year in advance. So it depends on the place.

Re: flowers
I booked my florist months ago and I'm getting married in August. It would be good to have an idea of what you want and the colors you will be using.

We're date twins, and I think I booked in March. It's never too early, as far as I can tell, and some who do only one wedding per day can be booked really far in advance. Plus, it's the one vendor you might want to speak to a few of, because prices can vary as well as style of work, so it can't hurt to get started. With DJ's, for instance, you can talk with them and get an idea, but with florists, you almost have to go and see every one of them.

Re: flowers
We're going in December to talk about what kind of flowers we want and then we're going back in Oct. (a year from the wedding) This we can see some different arragments with flowers that are in season!

I booked my florist in March & my wedding is in Feb. I say do them as quickly as possible. You will be amazed how fast these brides book up places & then ur date is gone!
