How many of you have already booked your florist? Debating on whether or not to take that on next month. Thanks.

Re: Flowers

i don't think its too early, because as we can see just based on this board your date is kind of popular, thats just on here, who knows how many more brides outside of LIW

check your recommended vendors from your RH. Popular vendors on here are Flowers by Michelle, Verbena, Burtons, Flowers by Brian and some more.

I know who I want as my florist, and I'm booking him next Saturday... He's doing my sample centerpiece first.

I plan on just going and saying I want my Bo-k's in these colors & the CP's in these... show me what you got!

Re: Flowers

we booked the florist already. it was one of my most dreaded vendors because I thought I would either have to spend a fortune to get something decent..or have embarrasing CP's that reflected my budget..lol. It was not the case AT ALL. Shop around, a lot of them are willing to work with your budget and will throw in some extra things to make everything look good (they have to maintain their reputation!). We went with flower barn...Mike is a life saver!

HTH!

I know what I want - just a matter of actually going now.

Re: Flowers

we have started looking, have quotes from 5 florists now, we have been to

Jackandrose (*** if it bleeps out)
Perfect Wedding Planner Florist
Flowers by Brian
Flowers by Burton
Flower Barn

So far Flower Barn is our top pick for price and quality, I was a little hesitant with Burtons, even though they were 130 less than Flower Barn because you cant choose your flowers from the get go, and some of the flowers I want are not in season in January (hydrangeas as an example)

I still want to check

Verbana
Design by Rose
Flower Michelle
and some of the local florists. See what they can do.

I was told you really dont have to start booking Flowers until 6 months in advance, but I like things out of the way early so I know how much to budget for them
