so i really need to make apts with the florist but im so clueless about flowers and what i want. i personally dont like flowers so i wanted to do half candle CP's and half small flower CP's what do you ladies think? also i refuses to spend a lot of money on flowers so who do ladies suggest i go meet with that can work with me thanks
hey shower buddy! i feel the same way! I am not a crazy flower freak so I felt that less is more. I recommend Burtons...great prices! i am doing candelabras with a wreath of flowers around the bottom. def check them out!

Give Burton's a call ... they are located in Melville. I know a lot of girls on here are using them as well !

Re: flowers
I'm in the same process right now. I already purchased candle holders...now I need the small floral portion. Anyone know the going rate per table? $50? What sounds about right. I would post on the vendor board but I've already met with some of the vendors on here and feel a little awkward doing so. That would be something you could do, post on the vendor board.

Re: flowers
I would love to do something with candles and less flowers - so much more cost efficient and then you're left with beautiful vases, etc instead of wilting petals...
me too...bought these candelabras...then will put ivory tapers in them...ivory running thru the center and a full wreath of all white flush flowers covering the whole bottom.
I bought hurricane goblets from Dillard's and am having Burton's set them up for me with some loose petals and sprigs of holly. I'm just using them for personal flowers really. I would def check them out, they were very reasonable for the bouq quotes.

Approximately how much are you paying? FM if you don't want to post.

hey these are really pretty where did you purchase them
I bought them at this site but did have bit of a tough time with the guy i ordered from...they came in great condition but if you do order anything...lie about yuor date...say its much sooner....
the candelabras were only about $20 each and I am paying $85 to have ivy added through the center to fill it in and then to cover the entire bottom with a flush wreath of flowers..all ivory and white. (burtons) This was at a quote for 22 tables which may be more or less depending on my final count.
