I was wondering what to expect when meeting with florists...as far a prices go.
For girls who got married at the RH how much flowers cost for you. I am asumming it would be less for those married in RH since many of the ceremony rooms are already decorated...
I am just trying to prepare FMIL who is paying...I don't want her to freak on prices all day...lol

actually for us i think the florist will be more than if we got married in a church..
our hall doesn't provide the archway or any ceremony decor so our florist will have to provide all of that on top of everything for the wp and the reception

You usually go into the florist with a budget, rather than them just give you one. Then they tell you what they can do within that budget.
It's hard for me to give you an estimate b/c we'd need to know how many bo-ks you'll need, how many tables you'll have, high vs low centerpieces, etc etc etc.

Yeah I would check with your RH to find out what kind of decor they provide for the ceremony. We aren't even doing flowers at our church because we're not doing a mass, and they don't allow anything on the pews or on the aisle. A florist I met with said that even an arrangement at the altar rarely gets noticed because the bride and groom take the attention.... but we might get one large one anyway. So ultimately my flower budget is going to be less than what I thought it would be.
