Ok, so i think the next thing i need to focus on is my flowers...

i've already sent out emails to the following asking for quotes...

am i missing any?

i was reading reviews on them.. and most of them were very negative... all saying how the sample that was shown was gorgeous, but they didn't deliver the sample size cp to the actual rh, they were always smaller...

so i'm hesitant to contact them...

I met w. them and had a great experience. However their quote was for $1750-2K. More than I had originally budgeted.

Theres some negative stories about them on the LIW 2010 Facebook group. You might want to check it out - I ruled them out based on the Reviews and contacting Brides who used them.

-Flowers by Gina

Met w/ her too. She works out of her garage in Fresh Meadows, Queens. Her prices can be lower than what you want but not as low as some local florists I went to. She quoted me about 1500 for tall cp's.

-In Full Bloom

Not familiar w/ them.

-Designs by Rose

Also heard a few negative things about them so I didn't contac them.

Besides the above, I also checked out

-the local florists in my area
-Flower Michele
-Flower Barn (actually should follow up w/ them, I had a good experience when I asked for a phone quote)
-Hidden Essence (the lowest quote I got. Under 1K for tall centerpieces..I am not sure what is up w/ that).

hm, i actually think it's the other way around. house vendors have free meals and any vendors that are not house vendors are half priced.

as for the florist, they don't stay anyways... so i dont think we are responsible for their food costs...right?
