I was told its never too soon..if ya know what you want and who ya want..go for it!! And on the flip side..I was told you should have them booked by no later than four months before your wedding.

one of my vendors told me I was smart to book them early, casue their prices would be going up the following year. ( booked them in December 2002) so if you know who you want, I say go for it, you may end up saying some money!
