When you booked your florist appointments did you know what colors you wanted and what flowers you wanted? or did they help you?

Who would you recommend me going to..B*rtons is a def..but IDK who else to go to!

I had a genera idea of what I wanted, but Rich from Flowers By Brian had tons of books to look through and then asked questions about my style, my dress and my theme for the wedding and suggested some things.. but I'm still not sure exactly what I want and he's goign to work with me :)

I went with Jen from Verbena Designs because I had an idea of what I wanted, but I wasn't sure how it would look and I didn't think I could get what I wanted in my price range..... (BIG WEDDING... little budget). After we did an entire consultation, she made me this gorgeous centerpiece that was exactly what I wanted (but was worried would look silly). I was speechless for about 5 minutes and then I eventually caught my breath enough to write the check.

You really don't need to know what you want before you go. When I went they had several samples already made up and showed me samples of different flowers so I could see what they looked like. Also, some places have albums you can look through. If you have maybe a few colors to narrow it down to that will probably make it easier for them to make some suggestions. I also brought pictures of flowers that I liked from either bridal magazines or websites.
