Have any of you booked a florist? That's what I want to do next since I care the least about that. I just want a super deal! Will I get funny looks on this or have you started quoting for your flowers?

Re: flowers
FH and I were just talking about how the one thing we are so lost on is flowers. I am not a big flower person but I am still not sure what I want to do for centerpieces.

I'm not a floral person either. When I envision my wedding I don't picture flowers! Luckily I was able to rent branch centerpieces with hanging crystals and candles from my hall. Also, there is ceremony decor that meets my taste and I don't want to add more. I just need bridal party flowers-thats it. I really don't want to spend any more than $750 for this including tax, tip and delivery fees. I tried to come up with a creative substitute for my girls, like holding a clutch in our color maybe with 1 flower, or carrying in candles... But I decided that I should have some flowers at least

Re: flowers
I'm right there with you- I wrote my flower budget at $1000, but anything under that would be GREAT!
I only need bouquets for me, MOH and 4 BMS, FH, best man, 4 GM's, MOB, MOG, FOB, FOG, flower girl, ring barer, readers (3), small floral decorations for the church and some petals for decorating at RH- anyone think this is possible for my budget??

Re: flowers
I wrote my flower budget down as $1000 also. But depending on what type of centerpieces I choose to go with i'm hoping I can get them included for that price also. I don't want anything huge or fancy. I can't see myself spending tons of $$ on a centerpiece.. its crazy to me.

crashing! Local is the way to go! I am paying less than 2k for everything, including high centerpieces that light up with crystals in them. I went nuts and the wedding florists quoted me double!
