Havent contacted a florist yet, but I'm assuming that roses in February are going to be top dollar! I've thought about doing open silk red roses for the centerpieces, and then keep the real flowers for the wedding party! Has anyone used silk roses before? If so, what site did you use? I've been on a few sites.... They either look really fake, or they're really expensive! Please help! Thanks :) - Jill

Roses are pretty standard as a wedding flower, I've never heard of a place charging you more for using roses at any time of year. I'm using roses as well as other flowers that aren't 'in season' (since I'm getting married in January) and I didn't receive higher price quotes for it.

What florist are you using?! There was a florist at SLCC a couple of months ago and they said starting $150... and that was for the centerpiece with about 10 roses in it lol

I've just made the florist rounds and $150 is pretty standard for high centerpieces. I got that quote at almost every florist I checked out, though they all had more than 10 flowers!
