Hi Ladies! So FH and i chose the colors of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, they will be wearing silver and black. So now we r up to invitations and flowers, but dont know what color combinations go well with that other than white? I havent found any floral arrangements that strike me as perfect, or any invitations! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Well for invitations, I don't see why you couldn't just do silver and black...I like blue or deep purple with those colors myself.
For flowers, I would go with ivories and then a deep color as an accent, maybe a rich plum.

and the black and silver just for the invites are a good idea but im just concerned that itll be too dark, do u know what i mean?

Elyse... i think any color goes sooo nicely with silver and black. first think about the overall look you want.. do you want it to be a little more flashy and bold or do you want it more serene and calming. That will at least send you in the direction of either bright poppy colors like fusha and red etc or pale colors like ice blue or light purple... etc. Any color you pick will look amazing with silver and black! Let us know what you decide!

I think black paper with silver writing would look hot! Not at all too dark and it would have the perfect amount of pizzaz! you know what i mean?

I thought someone on here had a color scheme that was black, white and fuschia - I'll do some searches and see what I find.

adding in purple would be very pretty, that was actually the color scheme of our Junior Prom, black, silver and purple. It was very elegant looking together. Our centerpieces had purple and white flowers in silver vases.

I think you should go bright because it's a summer wedding so I think the fuschia or a bright orange or both would look fantastic.

Thanks for looking for me! I think the fushia may be a bit too much for FH and i. We are looking for something old fashioned with a flair of modern in it! Black tie optional. i think the icy blue may be better suited!
