Gina!!!

We booked this weekend, absolutely love hte centerpiece sample she made, and she gave a great price for what you get and I thought she was an absolute doll.

She will work with your budget to!

i haven't booked yet, but I have been emailing back and forth with both florists. They're both great, reply to my emails almost instantly and sound genuinely nice. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

When it comes down to it if you like them both, i'd say to just compare apples to apples and see which one has better prices.

Oh & Rose is very professional.

I haven't met with Flowers by Gina, but I hear wonderful things about her.

I can tell you that I have met with Designs by Rose, and I was so happy and excited after my meeting. I love that they are a mother & daughter team, very professional & very experienced. I didn't feel pressured at all, and they were not trying to push anything, if anything they were trying to help me reduce any unnecessary cost, which impressed me. The best of all, I thought I could only afford a mix of high & low, and after meeting with them they showed me a CP (after so many pictures) that I fell in love with and was within my budget. I couldn't be happier!

I will be meeting with them again on the 11th, where they will make my CP. My CP will be a 24 inch trumpet vase with 10 Calla Lillie's & 20 Stemmed Orchid's. I have a pic in my album that she had done for a previous wedding.

Thank you guys.. I dunno why I feel that Gina will work me more, Im just scared that something will go wrong the day before the wedding, in a sense of professionalism, i find that Rose is more professional HOWEVER, gina will work with me more in a sense of more for my budget.. or the best bang for your buck... I am really stuck and this is driving me crazy.. I love how down to earth and cool Gina is.... But my fh likes Designs by rose better in a sense that there closer, more professional.. but both work from their home... UGH!!! i am going crazy...

I have heard a bad experience about gina on here, where she cancelled on a person because of her daughters communion.. I dont know how many bad reviews are on here about either florist.. I think they take down bad reviews? (from what ive observed) I am in such a dilemma... Is gina really reliable, for the day of the wedding? having the flowers delivered on time to the reception hall and also to your house for the BOKs? HELPPP!!

i met with both of them, and obviously i liked gina better because that's who i booked with..gina seemed like she was much more caring and into our wedding..she took my lack of ideas and low budget and did wonders...

as for the bride that she cancelled on, she already commented on this thread

I have found that with any vendor, popular, unpopular, huge company or little, you will always find people who had what to them was a negative experience, or things didn't turn out quite the way they wanted.

There are many popular vendors on here that I have seen people who were dissatisfied or upset with them, and others that loved them.

If both vendors are around the same price, and have around the same amount of stuff, I would say choose which one you click best with. I had heard negative reviews for some of my vendors, but I went with my impression, and I am very happy with my choices, but someone else may not be.

Did they both provide you with a sample to show what you would be getting the day of? if you have pictures of htem, give it a day or two then look at the images again, see which one grabs you (just make sure you label the back before hand)

However, when you change your hall and your date like she did, you cannot guarantee that your vendors will still be available.No one's fault. The date changes. It happens. And it seems like that is the case here....At least Gina didn't commit to it and do a half *** job once her daughter's communion comes around, and was honest.

She really worked with me, gave me ideas, checks in on me weekly and made me a sample CP and BoK that I loved. She answers my calls and emails within 2 hours, who does that? I feel really comfortable with her. JMO.

Excuse me - but why are you fingering me out first of all & 2nd how do you know i changed my venue & my date - which i didnt until later on when i was with designs by rose - my venue never changed until much later. I did rave about her i thought she was good - again this board is to tell you experiences - i didnt lie i told my experience with that particular vendor - now ill rave about designs by rose because shes awesome!

Relax...I'm not saying she isn't awesome...I don't know Rose. I'm sure she is...but ya know...I'm on these boards and saw you searching and making your announcements when you found your new RH, I remember congratulating you since it was such an ordeal and noticed your date was now 5/08. Than your later announcement that Gina cancelled on you and you needed a new florist. I asked what happened, we all did. Eveyone wanted to know b/c you did rave about her and some of us booked with her. No one is blaming anyone... Just laying out the bits I picked up on the boards here. You have every right to your opinions, we all do. I just didn't think it was that negative and thats all I'm saying. If something changes, all bets are off. Am I wrong? When someone says negative... I think cancelled the right before the wedding, all the flowers died before the end of the night, order wasn't what I signed for..etc. Not a change of heart for whoever almost a year before.... At least she told you now and not before you signed a contract or right before your wedding. Thats all I'm saying... I just didn't think it was so negative. JMO

Right but what your forgettng is she emailed me instead of her attorney asking if i can sue her since we had a contract, etc - unprofessional! Whatever you didnt need to use my name i FMed the bride who asked about the flowers and told her my experience.
