They are not negotiable and their sample centerpiece was just ok. They do so many weddings everything looks the same.

Any florist can do what you want them to do, they will make your piece up using whichever flowers and design you want. They sit and work with you. Out of the 5 places I went, I liked Flowers by Brian the best, but everyone has different opinions.

I disagree, I think he was very negotiable, and I found their sample pieces very beautiful and different, but everyone has different tastes. You have to go check them out for yourself thats the best way to tell

On of my BM's and one of my cousins used him and the flowers were beautiful, but I had a not so good experience there. I was all excited for my appt with Brian, and when I got there I had to wait about 40 minutes. Then he brought me into his office and said he only had a few minutes because he was very busy. HELLOO!!!! So he pawned me off on one of the other ladies. She went through a checklist and pretty much told me what to do. It felt like a factory. Their quote was just a little less than the florist I chose. Even though their work is great, the service annoyed me.

The funny this is, they just called me last week to see if I booked a florist yet. I met with them last august, and this was their follow up phone call......

Thought I was going to use them but didn't in the end. They didn't get the CP I was looking for right. They actually just used one from a previous wedding without any real modification to it and they tried to convince me it was perfect - when it was really a huge peice of tree trunk. I also felt like it was a used car dealership.

However, a family member used them and the roses were absolutely beautiful and lasted a long time after the wedding.

I really think it's about how much you want to spend, who you deal with, and what type of centerpiece you are looking for. When it comes to flowers you don't want the 'trust me' speech.

I got the same 'factory' feeling when we met with them. We had met with another florist the night before who sat with us for over an hour and went through everything. We were in and out of FbyB in literally 10 minutes. She simply went through their pricing, and said 'ok, if you are interested give us a call'. That was it.

They give you a base price for any type of flowers you want. Which, if you want something elaborate, is good. We just wanted more candles and glass bowls with some flowers than one of those high centerpieces. So for us, their price was way more than what the previous florist had given us.

They also called me this week asking if we booked a florist...we had met with them back in April. Seems like they might be hard up for business.

I absolutely loved them. They sat down with us for awhile, showed us many different flowers and arrangements - not just what they had in books. When I went back to see my sample centerpiece with my MIL they were so helpful. There were a couple of things I wanted to change, they were so accomodating and worked with me right there. They really took the time to figure out what I wanted. I had seen a few other florists, and they were the most professional and gave me the most confidence.

My personal flowers were gorgeous. I had no clue what I wanted for my BMs and they really helped me and showed me some options.

I have to say I was so excited and looking forward to my flowers because they made it such a great experience working with them. In fact, I was afraid I would be disappointed. But I wasn't - they were INCREDIBLE. I received so many compliments on my bouquet and the centerpieces. I couldn't believe how big and beautiful (and heavy!) my bouquet was. Everyone commented on it, includine men!

My friend used them and her flowers were beautiful!! Here is a pic of the bouquets and her cake, which they decorated and in the first pic is a centerpiece they made for the house. Her centerpieces were similar to the one pictured but had a huge pillar candle with hurricane glass in the middle!!!

I get to see my sample today. I will let you know how it goes. They quoted me ten dollars more for each centerpiece than another florist. If they can match the other florist I just might book with them. I know Brian doesn't seem very friendly but, I could care less. If they give me a good price and beautiful flowers then thats all that matters.
