Re: flowers by brian....

I am using them. My good friend used them and highly recommended them (her family is 5 girls and 4 already used them).

My brother used them for his wedding 2 weeks ago. The flowers looked great. I have my BM bouquet drying out as we speak.

I liked them a lot. They were very flexible. The people I dealt with were very nice. The price they gave me was a little lower than Pedalstals after slight negotiation.

What I liked was that I didn't have to pick my bouquet or the BM bouquet (style or color) until a month before the wedding. They didn't really tie you down to anything (besides the centerpiece).

I have to make an appointment in September and they will mock up my centerpiece and then I can pick all the rest of the stuff.

Re: flowers by brian....

I met with them and their work is beautiful but I booked with Burtons of Huntington, $2,000 less for the same thing.

Re: flowers by brian....

I met with them and found their prices to be reasonable, but didn't really like Brian. He kept giving me a b.s. line about how I can have whatever I wanted, but never got down to specifics which I didn't like. We eventually booked with Flower Michele in Huntington. His prices were a little lower but more importantly, he helped me figure out what I wanted. I know a few others on here are using him and everyone seems to be happy.

Re: flowers by brian....

i also met with brian while planning my wedding...although he was a bit pricey, he wasn't as expensive as i expected and his work was good...the reason i never booked him was because i didn't like brian himself very much...he sort of spoke down to me because i was a woman, i went alone and i didn't know much about flowers...he explained nothing to me about flowers or centerpieces or bouquets like all the other vendors did...also, his young daughters - who are very adorable - kept interrupting our meeting and he did nothing to stop them...normally i'm not this uptight, but when i am about to spend about $4000 for flowers, i expect to be given my alloted time and to be treated with respect by the vendor...overall, i think you could get pretty much the same thing from somewhere else for less money...

Re: flowers by brian....

My SIL used brian and loved him. Her flowers were gorgeous and I was going to use him. I just went back a second time to look at the centerpiece they made for us and it was magnificent. I loved it. I just wanted to think it over a little more and I went to meet with Spitz and Peck. I liked them alot more (personality-wise) even though they are more expensive then brian. So I booked them instead.

Re: flowers by brian....

I also met with Brian and he is the reason I did not book with them. He came off so snooty and made me feel like I did not know anything and to leave it to him. His pricing was not great and with that kind of attitude I rather spend more with someone else. That experience had to be the worst I had planning my wedding so far.

Re: flowers by brian....

just wanted to say...i'm so glad i'm not the only one who thought brian spoke down to me...with all the competition out there, we shouldn't have to spend our hard-earned money for anything less than #1 service...
