We used Flowers by Brian and couldn't have been happier. I LOVED my flowers and the quality was amazing. Our arrangements and bouquets were GORGEOUS!!! They were very easy to work with. We received so many compliments on our flowers (even from guys, lol), especially my bouqet. Everyone kept remarking on my bouquet, it was HUGE. I have never seen one like it, but believe me it was pretty heavy . Everyone kept coming up to me and asking about it, so I would let them hold it to feel how heavy it was. My entire experience with Flowers by Brian was wonderful. The centerpieces looked amazing. They are expensive, but so worth it!

Same here! He is pricey, but you pay for what you get!! He does great work. My girl's bo-k's were so different, and our centerpieces...AMAZING!! People kept coming up to us asking who we used. You are always going to run into rude/unhappy people! Do your homework, if you afford it def. go w/ him!!

I just met with Brian from FBB last week....He was straight out of the Sopranos and kept saying 'That's hot' and 'It's the hottest...' which creeped me out big time! He is definitely way too pricy (quoted me over $9000 for my flowers...and I didn't want anything over the top!)

Stay away....

Wow, that’s a crazy amount of money! I haven’t really started looking at florists yet…should I expect around that price?

It all depends on what kind of flowers, bo-k's and centerpieces you want. FBB did not quote me any higher than any other florist I went to (and I checked out 6 other florists.) It is all what you want and what you want to pay for. You can't listen to anyone elses reviews. Honestly, you have to go and check it out yourself. Someones likes are someone elses dislikes.

Thanks girls. I am just figuring out what I want, so hopefully that will help me when I go in.

It is true...You do have to go with what you like. Brian seemed to have an idea in his head with what he liked for me...and although it wasnt what I liked (esp the price of course) it could be something that is appealing to you (or someone else).

I met with John from Flowers Michele tonight and I have to say that he is AMAZING! I absolutely love his ideas, he is so easy to work with and was not pushy at all....On top of it he came in at a price that was thousands less than FBB and offered me a hell of a lot more!

Either way, go with what makes you happy....Best of luck!

Re: Flowers by Brian

Guys i'm so sorry to hear the many negative reviews for Flowers by Brian. Especially the review where Brian wanted to charge $15k and then lower the prices..that def. is hustling and crazy. I on the other hand, had the total opposite service. I guess it depends on the location and the person you deal with? I'm not sure. I went to the FBB location on Crossbay Boulevard in Howard Beach. The first time I went it was for just price quotes. I worked with a guy by the name of John, and man-o-man was he nice!! One of the nicest vendors I worked with thus far. I walked out of FBB without booking with them, because I wanted to price out other flower vendors.
The work I saw from other florists were nothing compared to what John at FBB showed to me, so of course I went back.

When I went back, John was so grateful for my patronage that he cut me a deal on my centerpeices...dropped a few dollars per each CP which in the end gave me GREAT savings! On top of that, he threw in a lot of here and theres. He threw in an extra floral arrangement for my house the day he dropped my bo-k off, he threw in extra floral arrangement for my bridal suite as well as the free corsage for my mother.

He was great. If you like the work of FBB but just have a bad image of the ppl that work there, I highly recommend John. He's great and has all the patience in the world..
