How are they? I am thinking about booking with them. I went to pedestals and they are offering less for the same price that flower by brian is offering me.

Try searching for reviews on the bride's review board - there are plenty of girls on here that used them.

I booked with them and LOVE their work. My wedding is in October so no sample pieces yet, but they're so nice!!! When I went to my appointment Joe took me to the back and I loved the center pieces they were making for a wedding that night!

thank you for the help ladies.....any one else heard anything about flowers by brian. I read some reviews and they weren't very favorable. so I'm nervous now.

I met with them and they seem great!!! Of course I can not speak from experience yet but I found the price they quoted me was reasonable and they were extremely friendly.

I've heard plenty about them and also went there for a quote. I'd say go with Pedestals, especially since you were quoted a lower price for the same stuff.

same thing happened to me...for the EXACT same CP pedestals quoted me $175 and flowers by brian quoted me $300...then ive heard others say they were able to get a lower price from FBB so who knows...GO with your gut

FBB is GREAT. They did the centerpieces for my Bridal Shower and we have them booked for our wedding. John from Howard Beach is sooooo nice to work with!!!! We looked around and actually got the BEST quote for him!!! I would def check it out!

Me and FH didn't have the best meeting with Flowers by Brian....they do nice work but they didn't even ask our budget before suggesting that roses were the cheapest way to go....why would you sell down...? Just not a good vibe...
but everyone has a different expereince so def. go with your gut... We are working with pedestals and got the same price for tall centerpieces with not just roses....

I think some people were under the impression that you said Pedestals quoted you less for the same items. But in re-reading your post, I think you were saying that Pedestals quoted you the same amount for less items! Just wanted to clarify.
I agree with what others were sayings about going with your gut. If you feel good about FBB, then go for it.
My brother and sister-in-law used them for their wedding in 2003 and loved them. I think FBB is a chain, and they used the one located in Nassau. I've read good things and bad things about them on the board, so I think it's one of those things where every brides experience is different. Just make sure you feel comfortable about using them based on your meeting, and I'm sure it will be fine.

I am using Flowers by Brian! I didn't shop for quotes, but I am confident in there work! I have seen weddings from both FBB and Pedastals and there work is fabulous. I booked at the Howard Beach location, which when some of my bridal party got married the location was Pedastals!! I know that John from FBB recommended going to there Long Island location to see all there work anytime I wanted! Maybe this can help you decide as well. I actually found LIW googling both vendors, so you may definitly find some good posts on here.
