I am not a Gina bride either... and like many others, I am addicted to this thread. I am glad it is up here, because while someone else might be willing to put their money in the hands of someone coming back from a seriously bad summer, I would not be able to. It doesn't matter what the reasoning is, it doesn't matter that she was in the hospital, what matters is that whatever she was going through, she is still going through. I do not wish her bad business, what I would love to see in fact, is for her to make amends with the brides that she missed, take a sabbatical from work and business, and then come back when she is 100% ready and sure she can do the job that is required. There are many well qualified people out there who due to whatever circumstances are required to take time away from their careers, jobs, school, business, whatever (even a few who had messed up in the past) and come back with full force. I truly hope she can do that. However, seeing the way that she is reacting and unfortunately lying and getting caught up in those lies, it does not appear that she is going down that path.

OH, and just because it is one of my biggest pet peeves: it's 'OF COURSE, not of coarse' COARSE is as in coarsely ground black pepper, or coarse hair - a texture....... sorry.

I am not a Gina Bride but I tottaly feel ur pain chicas...
I cannot believe someone woudl do that to a Bride on her wedding...
If that is all true, that she was in a car accident, She still had a Business to take care of... At least she would have call ALL of the brides n let them know... Not only 2-3 of them.

It's just that I know what it's like to go through a rough patch and make mistakes and think that I'm letting everyone down! I'm sure we've all been there at one point or another. It is certainly easiest to ignore everything and just crawl under a rock and hide. However that doesn't FIX the problems. I say good luck to her & I hope that she gets the help that she needs (because as an outsider who has never met her, however one that works in the medical field and has for over 10 years, it sounds to me like she's having a mental breakdown of some sort)....

And good luck to all the brides! I hope that those of you who are booked with her still at least have a back up plan JIC - even if it's just knowing where the closest King Kullen is to get some inexpensive flowers!

Gina LaPlaca is Gina LaPlaca-Hughes. I did a public records search, same address, same phone number.

Wow. I'm not a Gina bride, but like most people on this site, I am in shock that this is still happening. It is absolutely horrible. It is one thing to go through a rough patch, but at least make an attempt to rectify the wrongdoing. I'm sure most of the brides, while of course angry, would have loved to work it out with her and it wouldn't have turned into this 'soap opera.'

I think it is pretty clear that marmar is not a bride at all. What would be the purpose of opening a new account when you already had one? It is very easy to get the information of someone's wedding without being the bride. I could do that too. The pictures are gorgeous, but by no means do I believe that they are legit.

Are freaking joking right now. I was affected by this just as much as the other brides on this thing. I didn't make an account because I didn't hear about this site until my friend told me that I can find girls here that had hired Gina as a florist as well.
I didn't make anything new I just signed up after my wedding.

I am not a Gina bride either and I have been staying out of this but i just want to say that I am so sorry to all of you that she was a no show for. I could not even imagine the pain and anger you must feel. Especially to those that she called and said she would be there despite everything huggy: I hope everything works out for all of you and you get all your money back. So sad that someone would do this to people.

I was deeply affected ! You have no idea what I went through on my wedding day.

I RARELY cooment on these threads...but here's my 2 cents.

Marbear and Marmar or whoever the heck they are , are the SAME PERSON!! CRAZY!!!.. Hasn't this happened on LIW before??? It seems as though she is argunig with herself!

as far as the Gina girls, I truly feel for you, and I hope it all works put for you
