hey girls, so last night we met with the last florist and now its just a matter of making a decision
i loveeee gina, i think shes such a sweetheart, that were going back tuesday for a sample again more like we discussed
last night we saw rose in brooklyn, her flowers were soo nice too
anyone have any reviews with either of them?
im hoping FH and i can make decision by the end of the month and than its just the limos

Did you see Rose from Designs by Rose?? If so, she is located in Howard Beach, Queens. I'm booked with her and received an amazinggg quote from her!! She does gorgeous work!!!! Good luck with your decision!

do you get any discounts for booking almost a year and a halfin advance?? I didnt plan on even meeting florists until August or so - all of them have been telling me that flowers should be booked 3 months prior to the date to guarantee selection, etc...??
Just curious cuz I am starting to feel like I am behind here!!

check out my review for Flowers and Designs by Gina. She was my florist, and she absolutely blew everyone away with how beautiful the centerpieces were. All the flowers were stunning, and bouquets were still alive a week and a half later. People still comment on how amazing the flowers were.

Thats a tough choice both do excellent work. I met with both also, and I think Gina gives more for your money

I am from Queens near Howard Beach and many many many people use Rose and love her work. She comes highly recommended.
You have to go with who you liked better. Who saw your vision the way you wanted it to look. Who can you hound 33 times and they won't mind LOL.

I met with both and loved Gina...both were good but Gina had an arrangement waiting for me and I clicked with her right away

Good point about doing it just 3 months ahead. with the economy the way it is, flower buying is one of the first things to be given up. ALOT of florists are going out of business. So who knows which will still be here in 2011.
