Flowers for a April 2012 wedding

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can give me feedback on the kind of flowers I should get for an April 29th wedding. I really want a shade of purple. Also, can someone recommend a decently priced florist?

******* is pretty cheap (so I've heard) & I think a lot of LI wedding girls use them. I would def meet with them - they can tell you what's in season if you're looking to keep costs down. HTH!

Ranunculus is beautiful but not cheap.

Also, Picasso Lily are beautiful

My venue recommended Argyle Flower Shoppe in Babylon and after talking to a couple florists, I decided to go with them. I felt they were willing to listen to my ideas and work with my budget.

I heard that the Little Flower Shoppe of Lindenhurst is good (price wise).

Roots in port jefferson is amazing...purple roses are really pretty.. i saw a bouquet that had a little red mixed in with the purple it was actually gorgeous!

I am getting married a day before you and from what I can remember, I am using pink, rosita vandela and ivory roses, hydrangeas, and purple and hot pink stock flowers.

B*urtons was wonderful! They did a phenomenal job on my flowers and the price was great.

You can also try designs by rose. She is resonable as well.
