So now I'm thinking about florists...I don't know how this is going to work...anyone have any advice? Here's what I need:
My bouquet MOH bouquet Mom and MIL corsage Nine bridesmaids bouquets. These DO NOT have to be over the top or complicated in any way. I'm thinking simple since I have a RIDIC bridal party. I guess lapel flowers for 2 dads, ten groomsmen, and FH Flower girl basket At least 20 centerpieces
I know. I'm so poor, I shouldn't be having a wedding like this, but it got out of control. I'd really, really, really like to spend as little as possible on flowers, but I want them to be nice. Any suggestions or points in the right direction would be much appreciated!

Yeah...I would love to save money on flowers. I have 10 BM's and over 15 centerpieces! AY AY AY!!!

My advice it's to got ofyour hometown florist...give them a price point and see what they can come up with :)

Does your RH require that you use a house florist? If not, check out Village Florist in Bellerose. They are SO reasonable!

Try B*urtons & Hidden Essence. They seem to be the top contenders for great prices. Perhaps they will be able to give you a discount since you have a big order.

Check out Laura's Floral Elegance on Jericho Tpk in E. Northport. She is great to work with and her prices were super reasonable.

The other thing I can suggest is making your own centerpieces if you are crafty. This should save you some money.

have you thought about flower alternatives? maybe have the girls carry a clutch bag in your wedding colors, or make the guys bouts from something, i have seem some really nice feather or even paper bouts. You can also do a single flower for each girl. one calla lily or one long steamed rose. another option is a filler bouquet- think puffs of white babysbreath tied with your wedding colors. Also, have low centerpieces, that will def keep the price down. Bella Flowers has really worked in my price range, but i am not having a large amount of flowers

def check out b*rtons... i had 20 cps, 2 extra table arrangements, ceremony decor, 6 bm boqs, 10 gm bouts, and 4 corsages for about 3200 and my centerpieces were so full and the flowers were unbelievable!

Def. talk to your local florists! Some local shops are just as good as well known 'wedding' florists and will work with you on their prices.

I would start by meeting with a venue recommended florist first and then compare prices that way. I have 12 BM and 20 centerpieces. I am using Jack and R0*e since they were an in-house vendor and they gave a great price.
We have 14 groomsmen, but decided that we will do pocket squares as opposed to a flower, so maybe you want to consider that option?

I got an amazing deal with my florist, I'm in the bronx, but he's taking the flowers to Westbury in LI. He's really talented and works with you on any kind of budget you throw at him. He's truly a wonderful person to work with. Coudln't recommend him enough! (he told us his smallest centerpieces are just $20). If your willing to do the trip to Pelham Bay, then check Ava's Florist. Nobody could even touch his rates.

these are great suggestions, thanks ladies! my only hesitation with looking at venue florists is that the ones my venue recommends are very expensive in general...not sure how much they'll work with me...worth checking out though!

The ladies name is Christine...very reasonable, FM me if you want her info I have the following: My bok(hydr, roses and something else I can't remember 2 moh(dozen roses diff colors and some extras) 6 bm (dozen roses each one color) 7 gm bout 2 dad bout 1 ring bearer bout 3 mother csgs $415
My sis used her for her wedding with a smaller party and 10 CP'S.. It was really a steal. She wil meet with you at your home.
