Flowers for guys

Hey there...quick question...do you think from a guys perspective that they will miss not wearing a flower ? I assumed that it was something we would do ...but now I'm wondering if we can get away with flowers for just the girls...what do you think

i was thinking of cutting the guys flowers too. i'm not sure it will look silly, but i can't see it making that big of a difference!

I don't thnkt he guys would miss it really. We are giving all the important guys a bout. but not because they really wnat one (they don't care) but I want them to wear one. So I think its up to you.

we're not doing flowers for the guys...just those fabric things that come out of their jacket pocket in front...with the color of the girl's dresses....

Depending on what you are getting from your florist-they are probably free-mine were. Usually they are a single flower and they match one of the flowers in the girl's bouquets-so my florist threw in all 13 of them for free-granted we paid A LOT of $ for everything else-so I guess its the least he could do.

WE also have them for the groom, gm, fathers. They will each have a mini calla.

But if you don't want to do it then i don't think it's a big deal at all

I don't see how it would look weird... but we are doing bouts for the groom, GM, and the fathers.

FH's will be a mini calla lily
GMs will be white roses with blue delphinium
Dads will be plain white roses

I personally feel they all should get a flower, but thats up to you, its your day, anything goes.

I don't think it will look weird, or they will even notice.

But I do think its most likely not that much savings if thats what you are trying to do...

Most places the grooms is free, I even asked for a 2nd one becuase after the receiving line it is usually crushed becuase of all the hugging...

but I don't see how you could be saving that much by just not providing flowers for the GM...

I think if you are going to cut the flowers some place the boutineers would be the place to do it, but I tend to think that they look really nice. Gives the guy a bit of character.
We had the FOB, FOG, Groom, Best Man, and all Ushers have boutineers.
