Flowers Help!!!

Flowers Help!!!

I'm meeting with Pedestals on Friday and I just realized I know NOTHING about flowers....

What are some questions I should make sure to ask?

The only thing I know for sure I want is for my bouquet to be completely white flowers and that I'd prefer high centerpieces.

Should my bo-k and BM bo-ks be the same flowers that end up in my centerpieces and the church spray?

Anyone have pictures to help me?

You should bring pictures of the ceremony site and reception site if you have them.
Also bring pics of your dress and bm dresses so they can make bouquet suggestions.
You should ask the florist to see pictures from weddings they have done if you haven't already seen them.
Ask when you will get to see a sample cp.
Inquire about deposit and refund/cancellation policy.

So far - the florist is the only vendor I have and love!

She told me to rip out pages in bridal mags of flowers I like/love/hate. Just so she could get an idea of what is in my head and the specific flowers that I like and more importantly the things i DON'T like..

It may be a good idea for you to do the same :) I came up with a star system - i put one star for things i liked, 2 for things i loved and a big ole' X through the stuff i didn't like.

They will be very helpful with ideas.

They have a huge portfolio on their website - maybe print out a few that have things you like. They can totally combine the flowers in one pic with the vase from another, etc.

Its up to you if you want to use the same flowers at church/centerpiece. i am going with all roses, so it is a really clean, classic look. But I also love when things are all mixed up, that is a fun look too!

Good Luck!

I booked with Rob at Pedestals, he was awesome!
