Before I go to florists, I was wondering about pricing of flowers. ie: which flowers are more expensive at the end of April.
I heard roses are less expensive than some flowers, but does this include lavendar roses?
also, how are hydrangeas priced compared to others?

Nina.. I am getting married a week after you and I am using Calla Lillies, Roses and Green Underdeveloped Hydrangeas.. the mini calla's are were the most expensive of the bunch.. the roses were less expensive but I am also using tangerine and yellow roses.. I am just using the green hydrangea for accents.. I don't know who you are going to see but I am using Pedestals and if you want more info, FM me and I will be glad to share it with you!!

lavendar roses especially sterling silvers are the most expensive roses (they're my favorite) but I don't know if that means they are more expensive than other flowers. I've heard hydrangeas are expensive too. I really like them too.

im getting married a week after you, and my flowers are almost all lavendar roses...i have some blue roses just in my bo-k and FH bout....i dont think lavendar are more expensive, my florist said blue roses are expensive, i think lavendar are comparable to other roses, at least at my florist...if you want to know what im getting, prices, etc just FM me and good luck!!

Blue roses are expensive because no true blue rose exists in nature. You have to dye a rose or look for some purple variation (lilac looks more blue than lavender). At least from the research I've done on rose variations.

Eek, ok... I didn't know how expensive hydrangeas were....
and I figured the lavendar aren't the natural kind so might be more expensive....
hmmm...
I will have to think of another option to throw in there...
