Is anybody using flowers in your hair on the day of? I'm thinking of ordering one of those big fake ones to wear on the side of a chignon. My only question is, whenever I see pics of this it is never with a veil. Do you think it looks silly to have that big flower under a veil? Anybody have any pics of this look?

my sister did this for her wedding it looked really pretty and she did not wear a veil, also her wedding was outside

I had a veil and wore gardenias--you can see it in my album. I really liked the way it looked; I don't think it looked silly or anything like that.

Just make sure they're not the kinds of flowers that wilt over a few hours...ask your florist!!

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. I'll have to see what's in season for September that would hold up for 12 hours!
