Flowers in the garden for a May wedding? Question for May brides.

Hey, girls, I found the wedding place, and it has a beautiful garden. I can get a special discount if I have the wedding in May 2008. The dates available are the 4th, 11th and 18th. Do you think nice flowers will already come out at those times in the garden? Would it matter if it's later or earlier?

My wedding was at the end of May and the gardens were blooming and gorgeous. May is a PERFECT month for a wedding!!

you should ask the ppl at the venue to see pics of weddings around that time of year, and ask what flowers will be in bloom then. the places i went to were very candid about what to expect in terms of flowers. one place i went to said that they plant their flowers around april and that the early may flowers will be small as they haven't fully bloomed yet, but that is just that one place and the type of flowers they plant.

i know lilacs are in season in late april/early may b/c i looked them up as potential centerpiece flowers. not that every place has lilac bushes, but i'm just saying that there are lovely flowers in season then....it just depends on the place. AHH! I'm rambling....sorry!!

I think May 11th is Mother's Day so, you may not want to have it that day. I think May 18 is your best bet. It is a little warmer and flowers will def be out. Good Luck!

I was told by many people that for my May 4 wedding, I will have flowers....=)
Hope they are right....May 11 is Mother's Day....

I'm getting married outside in May and I was told that there would be plenty of flowers. So I'm assuming that unless their lying to me, you should be good. But I would definitely ask the place to verify that.
