For those brides that wore or are wearing flowers in their hair, Where did you get them and how did you wear them? I wanted to wear a flower or flowers but I don't know the first thing about it. THanks.

I wore some kind of orchids in my hair. Not sure of the variety, I just gave a picture to my florist & he put them on wires for me. We just stuck them into my hair & squeezed the wire shut & they stayed all day.

Your florist might be able to help you, have you tried asking them?
Separately, I hear that the flowers tend to get mashed and mangled through the day, so perhaps you might be better off with silk flowers, or a sparkly flower shaped pin.

My florist (John from Flower Michele) is giving me orchids on wire, just like carolinebr above.

My florist gave me like 10 flowers for that very reason but in all honesty, I never had to change any of them out.
But we did have to change DH's boutineere b/c it got smashed from all the hugs. Order 2 of those.

I would ask the florist too....they know which flowers will last all day.

Oh, I just LOVE how that looks. Beautiful! I'll have to speak to my florist. See if they can do anything like that.

My MOH and I are having the florist (Blossom Heath) put real flowers in hair combs.
I'm having an up-and-down hair-do...a ponytail with hair pulled back from just above my ears. My comb will be on the top of the ponytail.
My MOH has shorter hair (wavy hair). Her hair comb will be on the right side of her head.

you can also put silk flowers in your hair. i'm sure you won't be able to tell the difference. if you go to michaels and get a silk flower of your choice and put it in a comb or wire, it'll stay put pretty well.

lol i got mine from walmart!!! good old walmart....it was on a stem & everything and mia grabbed a pair of scissors & hair pins and worked her magic(i would just ask ur hair stylist what they prefer...mia told me to go with a fake one)...anyways, here's a pic
