Flowers- need direction

Hello Everyone,

I am starting to work on flowers and I am lost.

I need to find a florist that won't cost and arm and a leg, preferably charges per centerpiece (not different for each flower used) and is creative but will listen if I actually do like or hate something.

I'd also love any pricing help too, I feel like I'm being overquoted. I will need:
Bouquets= 1 Brides & tossing, 1 MoH, 3 BM's
Buotiniers= grooms, 5 groomsmen, 3 fathers
Corsages= 4
12 tall centerpeices
cake decorating

Try going to Burtons--they charge per piece as opposed to the kind of flowers you use.

burtons is the only place that i heard of that wont charge on the type of flower

definitely give designs by rose a call..

VERY helpful and their prices are reasonable... my sample is in my album...

i had no idea what i wanted when i walked in there.. she was honest and gave me suggestions on how to compliment my colors(blue)..

do a search here and you'll see how great they are and helpful in other areas besides flowers!!

Ditto!! I didn't think I could afford flowers at all for my wedding being that I have a large bridal party and will have 30 centerpieces but I met w/Designs by Rose and I could afford it, they are great....check them out!

I'd also suggest Verbena Designs. We went there and loooved Jennifer! My samples are in my album. She was just so helpful, and really listened to what we wanted and gave us a quote that was below what we received from others. Then, after she gave us the quote she ASKED us if it was within our budget and was open to discussing ideas on how to lower the cost! She's so great!!!

Absolutely Cori with Roots, Flowers, and Treasures!!!!

I literally showed her 2 pics of what I wanted, she said 'Wait' and went into the back, and returned with the most amazing bouquet Ive ever seen!
Finally, a vendor who listens!

She will work with you too and doesnt charge per flower....

You need about the same amount of flowers as I do, but I am getting the church done and my mom's house and I got 10 low centerpieces instead of high and my quote was $1300. I am using mostly roses except at the church and house...those will be a summer mix...my florist is in Brooklyn though..FM me for details...

FLower Barn in Seaford is a vendor here

We used Mike and absolutely loved everything!

The flowers lasted soooo long after the wedding!

His work is beautiful!

I just booked Pedestal this week end. If you're like me who is not good in color combination...Vito is man...he is very patient and he will guide you on what will look good.

Oh yeah..he didn't just show us a pictures of flower arrangement ...he show us an actual flower arrangement and a take home flowers Other florist we went to this week end show us lot of pictures unless we sign a contract.
