Flowers/ # of tables

Hey girls. What has everyone been quoted for flowers. I just booked my florist yesterday and I'm starting to think that I'm paying too much.
Also, I'm guaranteeing 175 at my hall. How many people are you guys putting at each table. They suggested 10 is more comfortable, but that means more centerpieces.

I was quoted $3300

I have twelve tables (all high CPs)
my bo-k
6 BM bo-k's
2 mini bo-k's (MOB/MOG)
3 corsages (grandmothers)
14 boutinniers (FH, 8 GMs, FB/FG, 3 grandfathers)
Flower Girl petals
Entryway arrangement
Placecard table arrangement
Hospitality table arrangement

I think that is everything.

We will have anywhere between 8-12 at a table depending on the people and how the numbers work out.

We are doing oval tables so we can have up to 14 at a table, but I think I'm going to try to stick with 12 at a table.

What did your quote include?

My quote was $4,000.

Includes:
-18 high centerpieces (although I'm not sure I want all tables of 10)
-My bouquet and 7 for the girls
-Groom bout.
-11 bout. for groomsmen and dads
-2 mom's corsages
-3 grandma's corsages
-2 pedestal arrangements for ceremony
-10 pew bows and 2 w/ flowers
-treasure box for envelopes (no charge I think)

The flowers I really want for my centerpieces would've brought the total to $4,700, but she says that she can do it a little differently and make it look the same for 4,000.

*Also, there's a lot of roses so I think that's why it's so high?

it might depend on types of flowers...plus are you getting all the ceremony decor also?

I was quoted $2500 for 150-200 people....
it is a mix of high & low centerpieces, my bouquet & for the 4 girls, 4 guys and FH, 2 moms, 2 dads, 1 grandma, 1 flowergirl, 2 ring bearers, cake decorated, our table too... i think that
we dont need decorating for the church though

im doing all high, 1300 for 13 cps..
im planning on 10 at a table, but i think its going to depend on how things go when i start seating-i have a feeling some tables might have 10, some 11, some 12...

Yes I am getting ceremony decor. And my flowers include lots of orchids and my CP's are huge trees/branches.

16 cocktail table arrangements (small bubble vase with floating rose head)
1 bride bouquet
1 MOH bouquet
5 bridesmaid bouquets
10 bouts (FH, best man, groomsmen, fathers, grandfather)
2 nosegays (mini bouquet) for mothers
1 corsage for grandmother
2 vase arrangements for mantel (pink cherry blossoms to go on each side of mantel) and ivy with pink roses attached to go across mantel

We are date twins - I haven't even gotten to figuring on the florist yet. Where have you looked? Do you call the florists first and then schedule an appointment to visit them?
